Haakman New Zealand BulbsHaakman New Zealand bulbs (HNZB) is situated in Edendale on New Zealand’s South Island. The company was started in 1999 and it mainly concerns itself with the cultivation of tulip bulbs. Because HNZB is situated in the Southern Hemisphere, the tulips flower on the land from mid-October when it is spring in New Zealand. Harvesting of the tulips begins approximately at the end of December. Roughly 20 varieties are produced on a total of 30 hectares. The bulbs are highly suited for forcing from September through December. That is why the bulbs fit in very well with forcing programmes like: Halloween, Pink Ribbon, Thanksgiving and Christmas very well. Please let us know if there are any further questions regarding these bulbs. |
